The Red Panda's role in the food web
Primary producer: Bamboo
Primary consumer: Red Panda
Secondary Consumer: Snow Leopard
Tertiary Consumer: Crocodile
The Red Panda's role is the primary consumer.
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WITHOUT RED PANDAS
Without Red Pandas, bamboo will grow rapidly and take up a lot of space.
Also, animals who eat the Red Panda (Examples: Snow Leopard, Yellow-Necked Martens) would have a lesser food choice and they would have to start fighting for food, making the food chain very unorganised.
In addition to that, without Red Pandas eating and producing stool to fertilise the ground, the ground might not be as fertile as before and might not be able to grow plants.
