Red Panda Adaptations
A Red Panda has many adaptations. It does not have a heavy weight (3-6 Kilograms), so when they are escaping from predators, they can climb on tree branches, so heavier predators cannot eat them. Speaking of trees, that leads us to our next adaptation, the Red Panda’s claws. They have curvy, strong claws. Using them, they can even climb trees downward. They also have bushy tails which is used as a pillow and to prevent heat loss. It also helps them balances. Lastly, they have an extra wrist bone on their front paw which is like a thumb. It is very useful as it allows Red Pandas to hold and eat the bamboo at the same time
